• Mostly Muslim (97%)

– 2.6% Christian

– 0.3% Evangelical

• Evangelical growth: 5%

• Restrictions on Christians:

– No Bible in Libyan Arabic

– Other religious literature is restricted

– Only one house of worship allowed per denomination per city

– Evangelism is forbidden

– Christians are persecuted
